Yes, but to be fair Ferrari and Lambo have a lot more cash to throw around for "frills" of this type. Witness the price delta between the GT2 RS and the 599 GTO.

There's also a PCNA event tomorrow morning from 8-10 am, for PCA members that responded quickly enough to the invitation. About 200 people, apparently.

What about the SF auto show? I hope they bring the new cars there as well. Anyone knows?

And the GT2RS delivery locations are selected. Think decomissioned military bases...with wide open spaces and nothing to hit
===> common, there were's the fun? walls leads to tight sphincters...

Oh and does anybody care if PSDS were to offer a Cup car driving school?

I can't agree more! It's a terrible terrible colour! I wonder how it would look in white with black wheels. Still not enough to entice me to buy one though. A few of us here bought a Spyder because if nothing else, it is a good looking car. This looks just like any other Spyder.

Not true - Porsche was and prolly still is (if not for the VW fiasco), one of the most profitable and cash rich automakers in the world. I forgot the #, but you can probably find it here on RL...look up the profit margin of a 911 Turbo, you'd be shocked. In addition, Ferrari lose $ on its supercars; Porsche for the Carrera GT and now 918, vowed only to produce them if they made $$$.

Once upon a time (not sure if this applies now due to the VW fiasco) - Porsche was sitting on a (x) billion Euro cash bond, reserved in case the Cayenne flopped, aside from its cash reserves. Guess what, the Cayenne did not flop and pre-VW fiasco, they still had that bond unused.

Not really, I've been in Sf area for 4 years and for some reason never made it there. Good to know, thank you!

I went to the Detroit auto show few years ago, didn't impress me much but then I suppose it all depends on certain brands making big debuts at a particular show.

Sad, but true. I've been to a private homes with far more impressive car collections on display. Still, if they've got the GT2 RS on display, I'm there.

Anybody know?

If anyone makes it to the LA show and you happen across Sasha from tequipment, the fellows who configure the cars at the show, please tell him "Nordic Metallic Turbo Tim" says hello.

That would be Sascha Glaeser -- he's an impressive Porsche guy.
