Default Factory GT2RS Book

My dealer called last week to tell me that he had a GT2RS Book from Porsche for me.

He suggested that I get to the dealership before it "disappeared".

Photos of front and back covers.

Anyone else gotten theirs yet ?

John,

Saw an internal Porsche release to dealers stating that ONLY 133 GT2RS are coming to the U.S. and that all units are confirmed sold.

The GT2RS catalog should also come with a CF look cover with two small plaques made of CF and tire tread base.

Such a strict process for the highest mark-up PCar makes no sense. I would have taken mine if they had allowed me Euro delivery (to keep it for 6months in a nice densely forested area ), but they refused as all cars have to comply with the delivery process in the US that starts with a track day.

As with all of these cars, will have to wait then until a few trade hands or remain unsold to get them at some discount. In the meantime, a 600hp similarly priced McL MP12C wouldn't be a bad alternative...

I trust the 2 RS will be a hoot.

Me, I'm happy to wait until May '11 for the 3 RS LE with 500hp and all the 2 RS blingy bits. Hopefully with a Euro delivery to boot.

GT2 RS track day intro? I don't think it will be possible to come up with a more over-orchestrated, hyper-sanitized event.

"Is there a significance to the space shuttle and gt2rs? IS space shuttle turbocharged too? Mike"

Take your pick:
either
a. as fast as the space shuttle
b. cost as much as the space shuttle
c. will be extinct soon, just like the space shuttle
