Ordinarily I might be talked into it, but even I have my limits I have Spring Mtn 16-17 w/PCA SD and GTGP at LS 22/23/24 with my friend Mobonic and his crewe of trackrats.

Maybe Mikymu will take the plunge and accept your invite? Great seeing you on track with that badboy RS Fred! I can see the hook being set...lol...

Pete, I'll be at the GTGP event as well. Are you going to be racing your car?

I am organizing a corral for all the local bay area Porsche guys/etc.. so I'll keep you updated.

Awesome, be good to see you there. Fruit smoothie at the cafe, my treat.

Yes, I am participating in the Time Trials under the umbrella of the RennTrack.com team. Will be sharing a garage(s) with them as well. All fast Southern California rascals driving 997's that will smoke me in lap times.

It's my favorite track of all 3 in norcal. But I have a heads up on that track. I tracked that track for 10 plus years in my race spec gti my old 996 and my 6gt3. But you are correct it does leave prisoners everytime I went there. One munched up car every event i gone there on average. Mike

Best? Boring?

Hmmm ... beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

For my two cents', Laguna is the world class super model of USA tracks for driving a 911.

Sears is the unrivaled second place, but no contender for the top step of the podium.

After that, you have a half dozen tracks around the country, all equally deserving of the third step.

I think if Sears was properly numbered, it's really an 18 (!) turn course and that would illustrate how it's a lot more "busy" than the 11 or 12 turns that most people think of in its usual configuration. If you take the nominal turn 7 and connection it to the nominal turn 10, it's "some esses and a sweeper" but if you drive those esses and see how they can be unlinked and how the sweeper is more of a straight that needs an entry speed setup, I think Sears breaks down into at least another five important apexes around the circuit.

I'm sorry but ls just sucks esp for low hp cars. It's not a
momentum coarse. At sp low hp mid hp high hp it's enjoyable. Ls don't hand a candle. That's my opinion- besides the other fact that sound restriction- dependent
on what outfit u are in- that's hypocritical- screw that. Mike
