Guys with the OEM clubsport: Is the bar compatible with enhanced audio? I asked Gert and he gave me this reply:
"The rear section is bolted into place. On the rear, it bolts onto the same bolts that hold the rear struts (shocks/spring tops) to the car.The front of the cage bolts onto the floor just next to the B-pillar. For this you have to drill 3 holes. The Bose bass unit behind the rear seats will have to be removed as the rear section goes through the carpet. Clubsport cars did not have upgraded stereo’s."
Is this correct? For some reason, I am thinking he is thinking of the 996 Bose system which had a subwoofer box in the back. I just don't want to go through the process of ordering the OEM bar and finding it's not compatible with my car. Anyone have info to the contrary? My RS is going to have the enhanced audio option.

I know this is from last year but I just had the clubsport installed and it creaks, quite a bit in fact. What needs to be done differently during install for them to not creak?
thanks,
