See this recently posted thread from Ronan, who owns both iterations & reports after 3 months with his RS.2, including Euro delivery & some time at the 'Ring.

RS.2 is a lot louder, gears feel much shorter then any other Porsche I've driven including the RS.1.
RS.1 is prettier but I think the RS.2 is a keeper.

From the right seat, my wife says the .2 is better riding and has less road noise...at least at street legal speeds. She also prefers the GT2 folding buckets to the OEM .1 sport seats. My white car attracts a lot less unwanted attention than my orange car.

Better turning at tracks, better gear ratio...louder ( very pleasing though)...I love the RS I look much better but RS II drives better....as far as road noise..it is noisy ( no insulation) but if you want a quite car you would not be here.

Agreed, anyone interested in comfort shouldn't be on this forum, but my wife is a certified noise and comfort inspector of everything she rides in and her perspective is probably not as over published as the performance reviews here and other places. One thing we both notice is that there is less noise than the .1. Me thinks it's those magnetic motor mounts.

Better turn in, and noticeably quicker out of corners due to the extra torque, and shorter gearing.
