Yes mooty came from my love of old moots. The new mtn moots aren't the same. Had mootaineer, rigor mootis, three ybb, two smoothies. All ti all custom to my super long torso and non existent legs.
Also Merlin custom xlm, serotta steel, seven dou, axiom, sola, teres.
I love all things ti
Moots made me a ti drinking cup.
Used to call butch at moots every week to bug him
But now I'm partial to carbon
Had steel. Mainly wall art at my parents garage.
Old Medici
Ciocc
Steelman
Pinarello
Old school stuff

Hey Harold,
Glad to know you road bike too. We met a big splash a while back. I'm an active road biker myself and you get well soon and we could do some rides together. Looking at the TS's picture above, I might consider taking my GT3 up for my Cameron Highland bike trip next month. Here's my C50:

Exactly what I think GT3's do best...Everything!
I'm shopping for one to use as a daily driver. Winter tires and everything! Why not enjoy it ALL the time? I don't understand the garage queen philosophy with these cars what-so-ever.
I'll probably get a roof rack for mine to carry my bike / snowboards though. The back 'seat' area is for all the rest of the gear that doesn't fit in the front boot.

Ahhh... I loved my old Merlin Vandermark design. What a bike it was.... but I turned roadie soon after due to a bad back...
Mate, great to hear! Lets catch up some time. Lovely bikes you have there!!! I now only have my RXR Ulteam.... I love this bike to death and will be buried with it!! hahaha...

when he loft marlin to create seven, that was at his peak.
seven is not a bit "derivative" now though.

BTW I also used to have a gorgeous old Yeti ARC (Missy Giove days) before they sold out and became commercial.... I really loved that frame except it cracked so darn easy at the weld joints!!! All these old bikes were great... still thinking about the old Ibis as well.... cant stand how all the new bikes are basically rebranded Trek's or Giant's or something mass made...

Newsboy was very cool... but could never pony up the moolah for what was a bit of a showpiece.
My first full suspension was the real funky AMP Research... I actually really liked that bike too.... ok way off topic... better stop waxing lyrical about the old MTBs now... but great to find someone else who was my era of mountain biking!!! Showing our age though!!!!
