Hi Guys, just thought I would post up some updated pics of my car now that I got the wheels painted, clear bra installed and and a few other details. I definitely like the wheels better in black.

Also wanted to see what you guys thought of a new product we are just about to release. It's called XPEL Carbon, and is a self adhesive film that looks like carbon fiber when installed. It's very easy to work with and you can cover just about any contour without seams. I covered the splitter with it and also made some inlays for the 3.8 indentions on the rear spoiler just for fun.

Cheers!

Very nice with the black wheels! carbon film looks well finished but not my cup of tea.
Either the real thing or nothing for these cars IMO.

Fake carbon, or fake anything is for poseurs but I guess that if it's used sparingly, as in this case, it's ok

Looks nice, but the barrels need to be painted, imo. Tint is too dark as are the tails, sorry.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Much appreciated.

I hear ya on the carbon stuff. As I said, I just put it on for fun...really just to try it out on something to see what it would look like.

I wrestled with the centerlock issue on the wheels for a while trying to find a solution. The guys that painted the wheels wouldn't touch them, so I checked with the parts department at Porsche. They looked them up and couldn't find any in black. Thought maybe they could be anodized, but that was a no go. Finally I gave up and talked myself into the notion that it added some nice contrast lol. Now that I know Suncoast has them, I'll be ordering those today. Thanks for that!

I like the idea of the CF film for recovering a rashed up splitter or 2. PM is on the way

BTW your car looks great, I am just not a big fan of dark window tint anymore.....
