New (to me) Cobalt Blue 997.1 GT3 (Several Pics)
Hi All (repost from 997 forum):
I'm relatively new to Rennlist, but wanted to share with you my new GT3, just purchased a few weeks ago. I finally got around to taking some nicer pictures. This is a former RL member car (thanks Larry ). I missed a priviate party sale with him by only one week. He had traded in the car to Porsche Monterey where I bought it (including CPO, new Corsa tires, and of course the dealer's profit ). Obviously it might have worked out better if we connected earlier, but I'm still thrilled to have acquired the car, and the CPO will add some peace of mind.
So far, the GT3 is just awesome... just so connected to the road and such great sounds, even with the stock exhaust. I didn't think that moving from another 997 (C2S Cab) would be such a big difference, but there really is. I'm selling the Cab now because I don't have room for both.
Anyway, the car had about 5,700 (when acquired), and:
PCCB
Carbon Interior and sills
SC (I don't mind this as much some do)
Yellow Belt
Sound pkg plus
Fire extinguisher
Self dimming mirrors
Bi-Xenon lights
Center console in Cobalt
New Corsa tires
CPO
So what's next? clear bra, GT2 sway bar (came with purchase), center muffler bypass, etc, etc. There is a long list of mods for these cars, aren't there?
BTW, I wish I could claim to own the Heritage Ford GT you see behind my car, but it's a buddy of mine.

congratulations. thats also a certified Nordschleife edition GT3. very rare in the states :-)
I had the honor to ride in it in a near 8 minute flat lap with traffic. she definitely works and does her job well. enjoy in good health!
