he's working on it. but as you know there are very few RS and GT3 that need centerbored wheels. so it's not his top priority at the moment. he's got some stuff going on with OEM, not porsches. whenever he's ready, i will have a few sets.
Thats disappointing... whilst not in the same league as far as quality goes, I may have to bite the bullet and pull the trigger on some Ulttraleggeras or Forgelines... I need something by October for track days...

Hey Trak, my understanding is that the BBS offsets won't work without huge camber on the GT3s... Also, I need to go 19s bcoz our tyre size ranges suck here in Oz...

i forget what you drive.
sounds like 2010-11 997.2GT3? if so, you need -3 up front to fit BBS like mine and trakcars. really great wheels, i have many sets. but no one seems to like them

no hoosier 18" in OZ?
you should move to heaven, aka SF, CA.

Yeah, its a 2010. I use her on the street alot and -3 would probably make it less streetable.

I agree, I should move to US coz our 18" tyre options suck here

Default Firgeline,

+1 for Forgeline, I picked up a set for my GT3 and mounted Hoosier R6's on them. Here is the wheel I purchased

I'm running 2.5 (rotated struts), no issues. Why do you say you need 3 camber?

Hello all,

Here is a recent response I got from CCW. Perhaps some others got this also....

Hi Mike,

We'll build wheels for the 2010 soon. We have all the parts we need from Porsche to ensure our machining will be accurate. I'll touch base with you again next week as we'll be moving right along with those. {We are finishing a large run for General Motors}

Thank you again Mike!

We look forward to providing you with the perfect wheels for your 2010 GT3.

Amy

i think he has a regular GT3 with narrower fender than ours.
as such, BBS told me it may rub unless you really cant the wheel (neg camber) to clear outside fender.

for RS its fine even at -2.0.

Hoosier & R888 are available but not all sizes. Choices limited by what will fit under the fenders and adequately satisfy load ratings... Also Hoosiers need trailering to the track... I've gotta learn to walk b4 I can run so I don't think I'm at hoosier level yet and I have neither the room for a trailer nor a tow vehicle at the moment...

R888 are fine if using 19s but limited sizes for rears in the 18's here so again a problem...

Importing is an option but at US$4-500 per set for shipping + 15% taxes upon arrival, not exactly feasible unless money's no object....
