i think my C14 had those anno as well, smooth no texture.
it did start to turn color a little, but certainly not like yours. looks like you will lap me 10x in a session!
that's a great looking wheel, the faded one!

My black CCW's are a matt black and they did not turn purple.

GT3 fitment....I got these from Mooty on the board. However they fit the same as the last set of CCW's. I just called John up and told him I wanted GT3 997 fitment wheels.
I have 9x18 which have a nice agressive offset and 12x18.

Did you see the anodized and the painted version side by side when you visited the shop? From the website, the painted version seems to look better, but it is hard to tell from the website pics..
Also, no worry about changing color due to heat.. or maybe the new anodizing process has improved and this is no longer an issue?

I hadn't heard about the color change. Not sure that anodizing would have an effect since it isn't a true heat treatment.

Could have been. The second set I had turned purple, but never got to the gold stage. Although they were only 1 1/2 years old before sold

Thanks for the update.. the color change I was talking about is that anodizing color seems to fade when the wheels were heated to high temperature through track use (over time). (you can see from the pics posted by others here) And paint version does not have that issue.
But I'm hoping that the new anodizing process has improved that color changes no longer happen.

I did see the anodized and painted side by side. Both looked good, the anodized has that pebbly look because of the shot peening. John said the peening process actually makes a stronger wheel.

I overheat everything, so I must be fast...
,
Does that not make the weights fly off, like on the Volk finish I had?
About 6 weeks for RS offset is good, I am OK for now with BBS, promised to me next week delivered.
I will need another special set with new slicks in case one of the slick cheaters has a good day
anno from CCW is call britepoint anno. they have a pebble finish
