Thanks CarreraGT. I'm driving a GT3.1 RS so I guess it should be cool right?

Jep.

Keep in mind that there's various "schools of thought" on when an airbag is a good thing in a street car on the track once you mix it up with a shell seat, maybe a halo seat, harnesses and (hopefully, everyone here ...) a HANS device. Some say, at the higher speeds of a track "bingle" and the potential to be sitting closer to the steering wheel (assuming you're in a "correct" posture for driving) and already be restrained by a HANS and harness -- the punch in the head of an airbag might be unwelcome (whether it's the neck or head or brain or acceleration or shattering a visor or (as is sometimes the case on the street, pushing something into your chest or throat) or damaging the corneas because the bag is quicker than blinking ... I dunno. I leave my steering wheel airbag on, but I have no facts, just a choice. Same for a GT2 seat thorax bag -- leave it on, worst case, it breaks your arm, best case, it saves your neck ... literally ...

Oh Yeah! Fire retardant cloth GT2 seats all the way

I prefer cloth over leather any day for both DD and track. Most people like leather and I have not seen another full cloth GT2 seats in a GT3/RS

Didn't plug them in. Unfortunately, original seats in 993's don't have thorax airbags.

Thats cool. Does the cloth hold dirt or stuff sticking to the cloth.
Also, how do these fit for medium frames like 38 wait. Do the thighs get pinched
on long drives?

Thanks

i really love the cloth as it is offered on the clubsports in europe.

that being said, im told the cloth seats can hold odor from sweaty track days and begin to smell with time.....

anybody else hear this with clubsports dating back to 996 recaros?

they are going in a .1 GT3 RS, so it's a simple PIWIS operation as you state.

I had 996 CS seats in cloth ... after a few hot days @ the track lets just say they adopted a certain "perfume" reminiscent of high school locker rooms ...

it could just be that I am smelly though

No such problems with my cloth GT2 seats. I sweat Chanel No5 perfume ... or I may just have defective cranial nerve number one

another ...
