Roll Bar Color
Quick question...I have a gray/gold RS arriving. I was thinking of painting the bar red...figuring that it would look different...accenting the belts, pull straps etc. Or should I paint it gray or leave it black. Thanks

Brave!
Am I alone in thinking it will looked either insanely awesome, or...
Karl- get someone to photoshop that for you first I think to be safe?
I can't form the mental image so have no opinion.
I will say I am very happy with my satin black bar with black belts. Subdued and all business.

accents are just that, accents.
mirror, belts, wing tips and decals are enough accents.
red bar would be too much for ME.

Hey, I have been under the impression that it is less distracting in the cockpit when you have muted colors. For example, less possible sun glare that can occor with a black or a gray than a red or a white. I understand the bar is behind you, but the glare can come off the rear view mirrors and it would also reflect off the rear window.
I totally understand the concept of being different and styling the car. Maybe it is just the German practical side of me coming out to keep the driving first and foremost.
Hope I am not raining on your parade, but just a thought. Whatever you choose it will look awesome. Heck, the bar will be in a GT3 and how much better than that can it get?!?!?!
Good luck with your choice!

Whatever the body color that's the color of the bar for me but if u plan to powdercoat getting it to match exterior is not as easy as simple paint. I've seen some powdercoated bars that did not match exterior. Black is a safe color to powdercoat. Mike
