Yeah, that is a little stiff - considering the price in the UK for the "Black Trim Option" including VAT is about USD $3,800... Blah...

Yes! My 100th post!

lol, this is exactly what i interpreted the price as. I am purchasing from the only authorized US specification dealer outside the US for government contractors and military located in Germany. The dealership itself is right in Stuttgart and I received the quote directly from the porsche exclusive department. The quote I got was for everything without a breakdown on the individual pieces. I didn't bother as the total was outrageous anyways.

I own a sign shop so i can have all the pieces done with vehicle wrap including the wheels and save this for PCCB's or the as of yet still unknown price hike for the '11 model.

what is cxx?

i had wheels, mirrors, wing blade, and intake painted black on my 997.1 gt3 for about $1500 by local body shop. also, was told not to powder coat wheels as heat can weaken them esp if use on track. paint has worked fine for 3 yrs so far.

CXX is reserved for Europe only. Basically a generic code for "Exclusive" and then anything "special" - is manually entered into the computer after this code.. (Thanks A430V)
