A must for a daily or quasi-daily driver. I have 600 city/parkway miles and no scrapes whatsoever. Lots of speed bumps at place of work and I'm able to easily negotiate all of them, even with a passenger aboard.

I had a GT3.1 and was careful and wished I had it. Just ordered GT3 RS.2 and didn't order it because you can buy a lot of chin spoilers for $3000 and it is just something else that could go wrong.

Keep It Simple Stupid comes to mind when I think of the lift system. I can understand why some guys almost have to have them due to driveways etc, but for the money, I'd rather buy a box of spoilers and tire air-dams.

not sure i agree. it adds a bunch of flexibility to use the car daily. i do agree that if it's just scratches and minor wear, it's not much of a big deal. but there are many spots where you may tear the thing off every day.

For owners with the Front Lift system, may I ask how long (e.g in seconds) does it take to lift & lower the front?

Thanks,

Maybe two seconds at most. It also takes about as long to come down. It makes a nice "fart" sound when the air is expelled! There is an indicator (thankfully it's fully spelled out as "LIFT") on the dash. I would guess it works via a sensor switch, since it doesn't go out until maybe a half second after the front settles.

Thanks, that is pretty quick.

It is definitely one option that I am humming and hawing over. I like the extra flexibility it will offer in terms of where I can drive the car (without toe-curling moments or awful ripping/scratching sounds); however, the price does equate to a lot of replacement lip spoilers and also more to go wrong.

Hum and haw...

Personally, I wouldn't think of it as a price decision. It's approx. 2% additional cost to the price of the car once you factor in a normal $130k out the door bottom line.

To me it's more about how and where you're going to drive the car.

I do not see it as a price decision for the reason you stated; however, that reason has been used on this forum to debate the "value" of it.
