Is the embossed "star" not the sign of Akra ?

 

To be exact akra or not, the new 997.2tt has the same exact design exhaust like the GT2 but not in titanium. Fyi it also have the same gt2 intake but in plastic (not aluminium like in GT2).
Not sure who makes it though

Mike, thanks for the pic and clarification - so the muffler on the 997tt.2 is identical to the 7GT2 but in in steel and made by Boysen..... Does this mean the 7GT2 stock muffler was designed by Porsche and simply constructed by Akra - hence why their aftermarket sport muffler is quite different ?
What is going on with the "stars" Akra has them on all their Porsche mufflers yet Porsche has retained the star for the steel 997tt.2 muffler ?
