Ordered an Akrapovic GT3 Evolution race system, which updated for the 3.8 GT3/RS MK2 engines and will arrive soon. This is what it will sound like:

The vid is from a 997.1 GT3 so on the 997.2 might be even better

Pics of what has been updated from the 997.1 GT3 to 997.2 GT3. It will now include an carbon fiber shade with the Akrapovic logo. The new GT3 system (3.8l) has only minor changes in the link pipes and small adjustments in the reflection-silencer. Also it carries minor changes with fitting materials, due to changed cats and headers.

best exhaust system I used in my sport bikes, and they seem to be doing even better with cars.

I'm getting an Akra for the M3.

 

I have the Akrapovic 'slip on' exhaust on my 08 E90 M3. It is probably the best exhaust I've had, although Europipe is very good as well except not titanium. I didn't get the full system as I am in an emissions county and have read of many CEL after install. The sounds is great for an every day car and most importantly, no drone/resonance at all. I don't think you can make a better choice than Akrapovic for an M3.

want to know if they come with full longtube headers since the 3.8l add more torque in the low end range. (gone the previous design due to lack of low end torque on the 3.6 akrapovic said).
