Default FS: Barely Used 997 Moton Club Sports

I have taken my car back to stock (will be listed for sale soon) and in doing so removed my Moton Club Sport coilovers. They were installed in August 2009 and were tracked 5 days. They weren't used otherwise, as the car wasn't driven on the street. They are essentially brand new. Here are the details:

Moton Clubsports with quick disconnects for 997 (they were on my 997 GT3): $5,044 new
Springs 650 / 800 F/R: $385 new
Helper Springs: $150 new
Motorsport Bearing Kit: $160 new
Camber Plate Kit - Motorsport (rear): $488.90 new
Total new: $6,228.40

Asking $4K OBO plus shipping. **SOLD**

Also removed RSS pieces including:

Adjustable Toe Steer Kit (rear): $550 new
Adjustable Rear Link Kit (rear): $850 new

Asking $900 OBO plus shipping. **SOLD**

PM me if interested.

Quick question. Are these mainly only for track use? In their softer settings
are they as soft or softer than damptronics?

Mobonic, GT is correct. They are for the track, but can easily also be used on the street. That said, I wouldn't spend the money just for city driving.

zmann... I have the similar JRZ's and i still use them on the street and on softest setting I still drive mine on the street and its like having the stock car in sport mode.

You CAN definitely still use these on the street, I DO!

But for a street only car its overkill, but at the great price... what the hell!

Just out of curiosity, where do the remote reservoirs mount?

The fronts are mounted on the supports near the battery and the rears on the roll cage.

I would think that the spring rates need to be taken into consideration if commenting on how comfortable they are on the street using the softest setting. In the case of 650 and 800 I can see them being a bit harsh on the softest setting, but cannot be sure without trying.

What spring rates are you using on your JRZ's Mobonic?

My new Motons, which I never got to try out , have 450 front and 600 rear. I believe those rates are close to the factory springs, and I would think that on the softest setting they would be perfectly streetable, and even more comfortable than the stock setup with sport turned off???

Btw, anyone interested, I still have my brand new Clubsport Motons for sale. Normally I would not post this in someone elses "for sale" thread, but since the OP's items are all sold I doubt he would mind.

Stephen
