Default Is the Center Lock Socket part of the OEM Delivery?

Picked up my new GT3 today. Dealer stated the Center Lock Socket, which fits in the compartment in the trunk on the passenger side does not come with the car as original equipment. I have no reason not to believe them but thought I would check with others who have taken delivery.

Thanks,

Congrats on the new GT3. Pics?

If you are referring to this, mine came as original equipment.

First ask the dealer how much it is; then call bullsh!t and refer them to this post. Either they simply did not get it in which case it was overlooked from the factory. Or they took it out in hopes of charging you even more money for it. Which is crap!

Now if the GT3 comes with it does the new Turno that comes from the factory with The CL Spyder wheels come with one too?

My dealer told me that the socket costs dealer $500 and that due to the new GT3's they have to order one for their own service dept. If true, I think your dealer just saved themselves $500... at your expense!

My car is a July build and it came with the socket in the passenger side compartment of the frunk. At $200+ for one of these, I'd go back to the dealer and ask him to hand it over or order you one.

Also, check the user/owners manual, I believe it makes mention of it there as well to help support your argument that your car is missing a standard tool.

Given you are missing a major tool, I would look under the little mat beneath both compartments to ensure you have a complete tool kit & pressure gauge. The driver's side compartment should also have a compressor and sealant.

Thanks,
So, the GT3 comes standard with center lock wheels and this dealer is telling you the center lock socket is not included?

I don't understand this dealer crap...
