Looking to purchase one of the 2010 GT3's still on the dealer lots. What do you get with full leather?? I'm trying to see if the $3,285 option is worth it. I have only seen GT3's with full leather, so I don't know what the difference is. Any info would be helpful. Trying to make a list of options I must have and options I could do without as I look for a GT3.

Nothing from a performance perspective, but everything from a sense of quality and wonderful aroma POV.

The regular dash material is now of such a good quality and texture that I think it's crazy to spend so much to cover it with leather. I sat in a non-leather GT3 just the other day and it was wonderful. Even smelled wonderful. Spend the 3k elsewhere IMO.

I love leather; the feel, the quality and the smell. I didn't get any luxury in the car such as Nav and Sound package. So the leather would make me feel a little better in such an expensive car.

Thanks for the photos and comments. That was a good photo of the standard interior. All I have seen is full leather and I liked the interior. The standard interior didn't look bad at all from the photo. Let's just say that I will not make it a deal breaker if the car does not have full leather. I'm trying to pick from all of the overly optioned 2010 GT3's out there.

I can imagine holding all leather bits in a bundle used in the car and that weighing less than 10lbs. The same vinyl bundle does not weigh a lot less.

Full leather makes Porsche and your dealer a little richer. I skipped it. Had full leather in my 996GT2 (standard) and it was to my eye indistinguishable from the not full leather in my wife's 996GT3. Porsche leather has neither the feel nor the aroma you get in a Ferrari. Not worth the money in MHO especially in a car best suited for the track.
