They save 56 pounds off the rear-end. It's a VERY wild sound and not the best for the street. Yes there's resonance too... If you can keep the engine to 3000rpms it's not bad though. I have three made (one's on our car) so two are for sale as of now...
can you please send me an email with pricing.. I am in the market for a system right away and the weight savings seem well worth it regardless of how loud it is...

mike@awdmotorsports.com

Thanks!!

i have the cargraphic kit 6system. includes headers, 200 cell sport cats. deletes side mufflers, keeps the vacuum activated "flapper" with the sport button for louder vs softer sound and keeps the factory rear resonator. no resonnance during normal driving, but put your right foot down...wow. talk to mike or bryan at rss in costa mesa, ca.

I have looked at both the RSS and Sharkwerks center section and the tips on this one appear enormous. How is it for daily driving?

Hehe thanks man. FYI, guys as much as it's fun/raw sounding for daily driving I'm sticking with our street bypass set up

Haven't priced it yet but it'll be more than the street bypass. It does sound a little different on the 3.9. We've got video of it on the 3.6, 3.8 and 3.9 in the werks

Would'nt i7 be a shame to take the fancy titanium center muffler and toss it? Side muffler delete instead of center delete maybe?
I know one could run the track exhaust and dispense with the factory sides/center... You'd still save weight since our whole thing is about 11 pounds. It'll be a different tone I would imagine with a Ti center but not sure if it'll be any louder.

Sure thing Mike... I'll drop you a line. Again, this is really just a track exhaust only

Our center section is designed to let you use factory or after-market tips

Hehe... good talking to you too Mike and well Snowboarder got to try it and he seemed to like it- at least above 5K When in the high rpms with trees all around you the sound is pretty raw... Hardcore=this exhaust so hopefully that's a match

I too have the AWE system of headers, cats, and separate mufflers. It deletes both the fender resonators and the center muffler. It saves around 25 lbs, IIRC, and adds 11hp at top end with no intermediate losses. It is a little loud and there is a resonance at 2700-3000 RPM,unnoticable at the track but annoying on the freeway - so you shift around it. I still get spontaneous praise at the track for how it sounds at speed. No affiliation although AWE is local for me here in the Philadelphia area.

Here's another choice...the route I chose:

The FVD RSR Exhaust by-passes the side and center mufflers

If anyone else wants Ser: 004 let me know. I've got one left (other than the one for Norm), We'll be announcing/officially releasing the system soon....

Here you go fellas... here are a few pix I took when JWGT2's turtle came in for the installation of our track exhaust

Here's the nifty machined flanges to enable the use of the stock clamps:P

Mounted... This was a PIA and expensive but essential I think. I hate compromising on "mounting" etc...

Installed...

On our 3.8L 2010 during early break-in (so we weren't exactly stomping on it):

On ze dyno

And it's stuff like this that's kept us from releasing this one sooner:P

For those interested in one of these exhausts drop me an Email to alex@sharkwerks.com and I'll go over the details with you We haven't officially released it but I do have a couple of kits ready for those that want them. If loud, 56 pounds off of the rear and track-stuff is what you're after that is...

Ideally, i'd like to have sides delete , replaced wif sports cats and keep stock box at the rear
This set up is loud but still bearable for street driving in general IMO....only heard it on friend's RS. Nice sound and good high end pull.
CUP S set up is out of this world for DD. I thot bout that too.

Meanwhile, I m on sharkwerks...quite happy wif it
Having said that, I will probably b looking to remove it , put back the stock box and then do the cargraphic set up wif headers, sports cat and sides delete
