i have almost 5,000 miles on my 2010 gt3 and only the occasional scrape with no visible damage. for $3500 i could find many better places to spend the money.

note: mine is lowered 10mm over stock. no damage.

why do you want a front lift? A: to save your front splitter from damage.

I wouldn't bother spending the money, you can buy 10 splitters a year for the same cost and you will still ground out the splitter even if you do have the lift system.

How are you going to know if you have to hit the lift system switch whilst driving down a bumpy road? 19 seconds into this clip the splitter hits the road, Porsche's own marketing video......

Yes, peace of mind, and I believe it will be useful sometimes.

yes, ordered front lift.

30mm not much, but keep changing splitter doesn't make sense to me if there is a part of road that you have to travel daily and you know you will scratch...so you're going to change a new one every night then?

I put 26k mi. on my GT3.1 in 3yr and still was running my orig lip, scuffed a bit but not bad. The sound of the scrape never got better.

For the Mk2 I went for the lift as there are areas where if your speed is too high it will scrape...and being a knife shape vs a curtain I don't feel that it will be as forgiving. 4 days 400+ mi and all is good
I like the quickness of the raise, no waiting

Hence, I created the video for all to see, how quick it really is:

Doesn't the front lift require slowing down to a crawl as well?
