I was thinking about going to the RedLine Time Attack, but the folks have been going back and forth with rules, and decided to put the stock F430 as an unlimited class car, so no chance to have fun against 1000 rwhp Turbo cars on slicks, while running a street legal car on DOT-R tires.

So, I might go to this one instead.

that's a really fun track, not too many places you can top out over 155mph on the west coast

Thanks all. I think I will make it. Should be fun . drive down track, pick up my daughter and bring her back to Seattle for Thanksgiving. Too bad THill does not have anything going on.
CJ:
come up to Seattle and Portland. Seattle >160+ going into turn 2@ 70 turn in :-). I bet PJ has been in the 170 range in his 996GT3 as I have and he is faster(R-6). Portland has 2 straights that with your skills and car would bump the 155+ on both. It is a nice smooth track.

how far is the seattle track from downtown? I go up to your hood 3 times every summer and would love to ride shotgun one morning.

the only other west coast track I've driven a street car up to 155+ is buttonwillow when running the "suicide" config, not sure what # it is, but basically you take a 3rd/4th gear turn almost flat throttle (tire dependent) into a ginormous straightaway then into a low 2nd gear decreasing radius hairpin. I've got a picture somewhere of me doing 160 from one of those track day photographers.

have fun! I'll be in texas practicing with my spbox otherwise I'd roll by.

www.proformanceracingschool.com

About 30-40 minutes from the ball park. They even rent out Lotus and a new karting track. Two 4th gear straights and 5-6th in the front. The regulars hit 155-170 on the front straight as turning into a blind apex.

Get in touch when you come up. THe proformance guys are great and run a very good program. Don Kitch has won the 24hrs Daytona(very nice watch) and came in 9th at Le Mans this year in a F-car
My favorite is the "power lunch" $125 for a 60 minute run. THey back to work.
