Recall notices on 7.1 GT3
Anyone know what these codes are?
W737 and W729
My car's service record show that they were performed, so just curious what they were.
Thanks

These are voluntary Workshop Campaign's
i.e. when you bring your car in for service they will take care of it, most are VIN specific.
W737-Deactivating Speed Setting 1 of the Engine-Compartment Blower
W729-Fuel supply indicator in instrument cluster (calibrate fuel supply indicator using the correct refill volume.

MJones,
If you put the 90 liter tank in your car, will setting W729 (calibrate fuel supply indicator using the correct refill volume.does the computer and gauge) to 90 liters solve the last problem that TCSRacing1 has (and I want to avoid)?

In the PIWIS Tester a country that has the 90 liter tank would have to be selected.
Whoever does this should consult Workshop Manual ’2015IN Calibrating fuel-level sensor system’
Have fun!
