Supposedly on the 9A1 engine has that fixed AND is epoxied on.
Dont know when the New TT and GT3 motors based on the 9A1 motor
will show up. No one knows about this motor.

i believe it when i see it.
that is when 9A1 is at least 5 years old.
it takes porsche 10 years + to get anything right.

So it will be at least 10 years before we can buy a Panamera that doesn't look like the "Homer" mobile

I'd have to agree though... For now they are telling us what we want to hear, only time will confirm if this is in fact the case...

Porsche claim that the problem was due to some pressure issue and they have the problem licked with the mkII. No firm indication as to whether the seal has changed but some sort of babble about changed connectors to ensure no pressure loss... Only time will tell if they are talking crappola....

One of the guys in our group at the preview asked Andreas and he explained the problem and seemed convinced it was less likely to happen because of the changes they have made. He certainly wasn't in any way giving a marketing speech, so hopefully its genuinely sorted...
