Sorry NLS8520, no info yet.....other than I am waiting for it to arrive. It is rumored to be on the truck now. I thought I would hear something good today after our holiday Monday.

I am beginning to think "they" are trying to annoy me......and it is working.

Cheers!

Bummer! Sorry to hear that.

But congratulations on the jump from M Power to GT3. Quite a few of us did that and you will never ever regret it!

Hi All,

I finally took delievery on Thursday Aug 6th ! The short description is "WOW" !

Since then I have put in over 2200km (1366 miles) behind the wheel through the mountains to Vancouver and back to Calgary, and around town as well.

Here are a few random, but major, observations:

1) The alcantera steering wheel is very slippery without alcantera gloves - I have already pre-ordered smooth leather wheel for 09/2009.
2) Clutch and shifter are stiff as reported, but not overly so - I find them just right. This is a serious car after all!
3) Power and sound are completely intoxicating !
4) The new standard RED brakes are unbelievable! low effort, zero play, rock hard pedal feel (much better feel than the 997.1 GT3 with ceramics and OEM pads, which were too mushy and long)
5) Engine harmonic vibration at 2800 to 3200 rpm (worse when engine cold) - ORDER dynamic mounts if you haven't already done so. I look forward to a thread on retrofitting these for early cars without - Perhaps Sharkwerks can help out here?
6) That nose spoiler is really flippin' low - ORDER the front lift, if you haven't already. I will be doing an aftermarket one like the Cargraphic setup, ASAP.
7) Suspension damping in normal mode is excellent and can handle anything the street will throw at you - Perfect!

Enjoy !
Doug N.
