yeah they're debuting in late fall as 2010 model year cars. don't cry in your oatmeal just yet. as has been said- GT3 and RS are PROFIT PIGS for the porsche people, and already developed.

the cars that are being drawn up today in someones office take a few years to get to the showroom, and these have been in the works for quite some time- too much momentum and buzz not to do it...as per the comment on US regulations or importing them here- I really hope that's not an issue. but if ferrari can get the 430 Scuderia here- porsche can sell 300-500 RS cars.

I'm happily awaiting the mk2 RS that I'm on the list for and have been since january 2008

Especially when you can use every reason in the book to not honor common warranty items.

GT2 RS, 600PS, and much lighter than the standard GT2. Walter Rohrl achieved a max speed of 317km/h at the Dottinger Hohe (straight line of the Nordschleife), which is much faster than the Carerra GT. The lap time of the GT2 RS is still a secret but it will be an answear from Porsche to the Nissan GT-R, Corvette ZR-1 and Viper ACR, Walter said...

If the economic situation won´t change the plans, end of next year the GT2 RS should be on this list.

It might be "production ready" but would an actual production car have unmatched front and rear wheels?
