Rumored Specs of next RS

UPDATE:
The 'other' 997 coming is NOT a GT2RS, which has been cancelled. The car is a 997 Supersport and is a C2S widebody in primer grey, powerkit, fuchs style wheels, a ducktail spoiler and a retro brown leather interior. Only 240 to be made and £135,000 in the UK.
On the upside my GT3RS order is logged and paid!

Also, don't think the GT1 ever had DFI. Lots of wrong info here (like 430hp after a 15hp boost from 435hp???)...

That price is clearly the result of someone foolishly making a straight currency conversion, rather than understanding that US prices are always far less than a currency conversion from another market's price would yield.

Will the 997.2 gt3 rs really be shown at the Frankfurt motorshow this September? Anyone have any new info? Given that the 997.2 turbo will be launched at Frankfurt, launching the 997.2 rs at the same event will make the two cars compete for the limelight...

I've heard several unrelated and quite reliable sources advise that the '11 RS will be at Frankfurters.
Porsche is bringing a gas-guzzler luxo barge to market in the middle of a global recession and a "green" bloom. I'm quite sure Porsche should have set aside the "business as usual" gas engine things and made announcements about their future green cars.
The Panablunda is already old news even before it's sold to customer 1. And if you watch the industry indicators, one of the leaders is consumer discretionary luxury goods. When the times get tough, the tough go shopping.
If I were marketing Porsche, I'd want the "show of strength" and the leverage of one of the few remaining elite events to unveil the proof of the revenue stream going beyond the Panablanda. If anything, I think Porsche is looking confused and diffuse across too many vehicle types.
At its core, Porsche builds the 911 -- this is the one true surviving sports car.
The best possible move for Porsche is the promotion of its two high profile 911 variants at Frankfurt. Porsche management is all at sea, but their brand marketing people are playing their A game. If Porsche can bring a radical, jaw-dropping GT3 RS to the stage next month, they will command centre stage around the world.

The RS will definitely be at Frankfurt but I believe details and pictures will be released beforehand, I will know more on this tomorrow. I will be going to Frankfurt anyway to see the car and the new 458 Italia Ferrari.
