This is really sad. The one great item on my bucket list to get ticked off was the euro-delivery of my 07 Gt3. Stuttgart>Munich>Innsbruck>Zurich>Geneva>San Tropez>Nice. Best vacation evar.

Nice VaK for sure - esp if traveling with those 4, i mean 2

Shame really as my Wife's cousin was stateside from Liehtenau (near Stuttgart-Nurburg) for Fathers Day and we were just thinking of this/planning a visit

I am trying to time delivery of the car for next June so maybe ...

Interesting, Gabrielle was a fixture at PCNA as she worked for them when HQ was in Reno.

A victim of the economy

Ahh - the memories - Euro delivery was the best part!!!!! I was able to string it out for 6 months (4000 miles).

WTF that sucks! my euro trip was amazing- I did 3k miles across austria, germany, switzerland, italy, france, luxembourg.

maybe the US dealers are to blame for not emphasizing more people do it. this is the end of an era for porsche owners for sure if it sticks.

This really sucks. It was on my bucket list, and I certainly remember checking out CJ, Eclou and Edgy's pics on Rennlist from their travels. I was able to rent a 9997C4S from Avis in Munich last summer, but that is not the same as driving MY new 911 around Europe!

I hope they bring it back. If not, my bucket list addition will be Ferrari.

The official word is it's "suspended" - May not be permanent.

This is very disappointing, I have an RS deposit and have been clear with the dealer that we were doing Euro delivery. He has been rather vague lately about anything to do with the Euro delivery though.
What a mistake by PCNA, they seem rather detached from the customer base in a number of areas.

Not a hugely popular option....
I bet there'd be alot more Tourist Deliveries (and many more Porsche sales in general) if they offered a 7% discount from MSRP instead of charging thousands extra (BMW gives 7% off with Munich factory/museum delivery).

You probably already made your deal, but for next time, you should be able to get it for $1k to $1.5k over ED invoice, which makes it close to 11% off US MSRP.

Thanks, Got it for $1k over ED Wholesale/Invoice! - I feel like its a good deal

AKeytiyev@bmwsf.com; Alek is a good guy, no affiliation just a satisfied
customer ...

Not sure why anyone wouldn't do euro del on a new BMW, lease or buy,
since you get a great discount, and you get to spec the car you want
(you should have seen his face when I specced a manual xmission!), and
a euro holiday to boot ...

I pick the car up in Munich, 7/24, then Venice, Portofino, Lake Como,
Stuttgart (to the Porsche Museum) then Frankfurt and the Nordschleife
for the BMW school there 8/3-5!!!

poor waggin is going to get it's ring cherry broken!
