Finalizing order soon - thoughts?
Will be finalizing my order for Sept production soon. This is what I'm thinking so far. BTW, it will be for mostly spirited street driving (not quite daily driver, but will drive it several times a week) with 1-2 track days a year.
1. adaptive sport seats
2. aluminum footrest
3. headrest crests
4. universal audio interface
5. bluetooth interface
6. PCM 3.0 with extended navigation
7. floor mats with colored trim
8. seat belts in Guards Red
9. full leather black
10. deviated stitching in Guards Red
11. interior package carbon (maybe)
12. Basalt Black Metallic
Any thoughts?

I'd ditch the adaptive for the sport bucket. A) you can properly fit in a 5/6-point harness, B) they'll hold you in better, C) weight saving, D) coolness factor. Just my opinion tho.

ORDER THOUGHTS
ADAPTIVE SPORT SEATS ARE HEAVY WITH MOTORS ETC. I WENT WITH STANDARD SPORT BUCKETS. FOUND IN MY EXPERIENCE, ONCE SEAT POSITION IS SET FOR YOU, YOU NEVER CHANGE IT ANYWAY.

good tips
I'll check out the different seats at the dealer tomorrow. I've heard the sport buckets are a bit harsh for a daily driver, but i'll definitely try out the standard seats. You're right: nobody else will be driving the car, so I don't really need the electric adjusters. I might be afraid manual seats would hurt resale.

The bucket seats are a must IMHO. Gorgeous and practical.
I would add dynamic engine mounts. It is not that expensive and is really one of the major + of the new GT3. Even if, like me, you may not be a good enough driver to make the difference, it will improve your retail value and it is just cool!!!
Also, I do not know why people spec the navigation system in a GT3! It is a lot heavier than the conventional radio; it is not like you are going to go exploring in your GT3 and, if you really need to, get a Garmin, which is much much lighter and cheaper than an in-dash system.

The sport buckets are a good choice that you won't regret, if you are an average size person. Furthermore, they really hold you in and they are not bad at all for street driving.

I would without a doubt order all the "extra" options you want. Things like bluetooth, Nav, PCM, add only a few grams to the total weight of the car, even if that; much less then the sandwich you ate for lunch will. The PCM can be popped out on race days to trim weight, etc.
As for the sport bucket seats, I have heard both ways as to if they are adjustable in height or not. Dealers have told me yes and no, owners have told me yes and no. Not really sure either way.
