I know it's reassuring to believe this, but the reality is that a catastrophe like that could happen to any of us regardless of skills or qualifications. I don't care if you're Walter Rörhl there's a risk of wadding up the car out on the track.
Shame about the car but it's reassuring that even with that amount of damage the driver was unhurt.

There is nothing in the original post to indicate driver ability. For all we know, the car could have had a mechanical failure or a tire blown out. Even Michael Schumacher crashes once in a while and nobody would call him unqualified.
The reality is that any one of us could lose our car in a similar situation at anytime on the track, given the risks involved. I hope the driver is ok and I hope that he gets back into the driver's seat to enjoy his car once again.

when one is pushing the limit, it can happen to anyone.
We are always learning by pushing our limits a little further each time.
Breaking out of the comfort zone has its risks..... this is the result.

This is the accepted risk we take when racing.
