Default The GT3 CL Scocket

It's big, it's beautiful...
It's 3/4 in drive.
Could double as a paperweight
Thought you might like to see it.

I think the socket actually comes with the car.... Its the torque multiplier wrench that allows you to use it as more than a paper weight which costs a few hundred dollars....

ps. Thanks heaps MJones... you're always sharing heaps of insightful info with the rest of us...

GT3 997.2: id haul off the stockers and put on the CUP center bolt system and dig up two sets of Cup Wheels... even though not street legal, i cant see any adverse problems?
must be a few grand-am teams with CUP centers and wheels available......

Hmm - looks to me like there isnt any unique key aspect to this design, so I suspect one socket will be able to remove any cars wheels!

Watchout guys we are going to find a lot of GT3's appearing on bricks overnight, as soon as the criminal underworld gets hold of one of these!!!!!!!!!

Buy the car....get a scoket.

No word if Porsche will be offering a torque multiplier for the consumer.

Dealers will most likely use their multiplier for the Carrera GT.(pic below)
Interesting about that multiplier, the right angle piece (reaction device), hooks into the wheel spoke to enable one person operation.

At 365 ft-ft you are going to need a torque multiplier wrench

Or a very long-handle regular torque wrench (not suitable for storing in the car).
