i suspect he will build them cheaper then GM could have thus have a better bottom line and by also utilizing the dealerships for more then just Saturn vehicles.......

Once profitable, perhaps it can be offered for sale for a tidy profit in the future?

I think he bought them for the distribution channel (dealer network) so he can start moving some Smart Cars...

All Saturns are badge-engineered GM products at this point; he bought the brand for the dealer network to import Chinese and Korean vehicles.

Good for him; not good for the domestic auto industry.

Thank god Saab is rescued, Koenigsegg bought it from GM.I hope Saab will be a quality car after that again. GM was the worst thing ever happend to this Swedish brand, the same with Volvo under Ford.

I agree about SAAB and Koenigsegg. But IMO the Volvo/Ford deal has been a win/win...Volvo's identity has been left intact, and Ford ownership has resulted in better Volvos and better Ford products.
