There's a reason some companies will survive this recession and others won't.

i saw the new camaro..... (im not really excited about it as i thought i was going to be....)
nor was i of the dodge challenger.... (looks chubby)
the newest mustangs since 2005 are a nice retro job of the group..... ( i bought one as a DD, since 67' GT500's were too $$ for a DD)

the sunoco concept racer from chevy looked good however..... too bad they wont follow through....

GM is fuct now anyways..... like a sinking ship....

yea. I had a SS 396 back in 1972. It was a great car. I think most of the problems is putting all the safety : ride height. But it is hard for me to think they could not have done better.

Gimme a break (and maybe you could give GM one too).

The Camaro is a terrific car. They did a great job with the design - it's modern and still reflects its past.

It's lightyears better than the Challenger and the Mustang. The Challenger weighs too much; the Mustang is stuck with a solid rear axle.

The base Camaro has over 300 HP with a V6 and it's priced very nicely. The SS will have Vette power.

GM is "fuct" but we all need them to succeed. Especially now that we own them.

on paper the camaro has a great powertrain with indy rear. Lots of soild vette stuff. The design however looks a little off of the 1969 beauty we wanted, so im kinda bummed.

the mustang may have the solid axle, but on the grand-am cup they do very well..... so i wouldnt say the camaro is light years ahead.... and without any of them being raced on a program from GM, it will reflect the lifespan of the camaro.

we dont own GM yet......

I don't know about that. I wouldn't mind having a retro 356A with updated suspension and modern-day Porsche HP!!

Ya, saw one last week with Mfg plates. This is what happens when you let MBA's run car companies.

Porsche haven't exactly been in fine form with talk of near bankrupcy in March and huge loans still needing to be sorted out ... Porsche, the most profitable car company nearly beat GM into a coffin... And we laugh at GM....

Depends on how you look at it... 911- 40+ years old, same shape, less metal and chrome, more plastic and much bigger price tag... Just like the Camaro except that there hasn't been a break in supply...

but since Ford's pockets aren't as deep as the King's (well actually the King's pockets are empty, but unlike Ford, the King can cheat) so they're "fuct" too, it's only a matter of time. this is exactly why the King has no business in business
