Well Im not 100% decided on many things yet but at the moment Im minded to say yes, I will be putting PCM on the order list. Sound Package Plus is however one of the items I am absolutely decided on having. The 2x 25W basic system will be just dreadful of that Im quite sure, so this helps in the partial cost justification of PCM anyway.

I disagree that PCM or SPP are a bit of waste on a GT3 as it will be a daily driver for me, and most likely the next owner, so it will be a bit of a must have to make the car liveable on the way to work and back and also I will also get practical use and pleasure from it too.

As I see it the GT3's key strenght is that it perfectly bridges the gap of being an outstanding track car and still a great daily driver. The GT3RS is the car that tips this balance in favour of more track focused than daily driver, so I would agree that it would be "a bit of a waste" to have PCM on an GT3RS and I think it would be disadvantageous come resale.

there's no real disadvantage to any option other than getting it in the "wrong" color-

lower option cars are attractive come resale because they have lower asking prices...the more options you order, the higher the margin of loss will be, but realistically if you're gonna sit in traffic or drive it all over the place really long distances, it's not a cup car so get PCM if you want it.

I will say that PCM saved my *** when I did euro delivery in my cobalt car (also had deviating stitching and some carbon...in the RS, the only option is PCCB!

Better yet, why not just delete both the wheels and brakes for even LESS unsprung weight

Was gone a few days, came back to the following threads:

Neros--997 GT2 PCCB Failure (Brakes Melt)
Rodjac--P50 Brake Pad update & other brake issues (PCCB)
sws1--Brake conversion costs (PCCB to steel)

feel sorry for these guys

When my dealer asked to spec my car he said that the lift kit was not available yet.

I was not happy about it but DID proceed with the order.
