Thank you! I'm excited about it.

Yes, it is mine.

I looked at the gt3rsregistry pages regularly while searching. When the car first became available it wasn't in the registry. By the time I'd arranged the sale, it had shown up - I was surprised how quickly that happened. Is that your site?

As a side note, I was offered (by dealers and brokers) RSs with PCCB and HID for as little as $125K, but they were always silver or orange.

the Whites and Greens look to be the more $$ examples..... silver the lowest....

If Porsche does bring out a new RS, I don't expect that it will be a huge difference - certainly nothing where any improvement couldn't be retrofitted.

I also don't like the trrends that I'm seeing in the direction cars are headed (increase weight, technology that takes away from the driving experience), not to mentions diesel, 4-cylinder Boxsters - see this month's R&T, and Kalifornia's 'green' wackiness. I wanted a special car while I could still get one.

The timing worked for me, though I still have a deposit in Atlanta for a new RS if one does make it here, and it is better than what I expect.

Huh? You mean like a 3.8 liter engine? Retuned suspension, updated electronics, updated aerodynamics? Those kind of minor things?

seriously, paying MSRP for even a relatively new RS is tough choice. The mk2 GT3 may even give the RS a run for its money.

we all know what's going to happen, when the new Rs comes out most people will dump the old one for the latest and the prices will drop. then the rest of us that have been waiting for just that will buy them up

why would you buy an rs and put only 100 miles on it?

I guess the only answer is: Because you can.

I put 100 miles on my 997 in 1 day, help I put 1K on it last weekend.

was part of a collection I had 3 of them and the cars were stored over an hour from where I live. Since I got the car when it was not really driving season around here I never got a chance to drive it.

sell it now while the going is good..... grab a CGT...

you can always buy a gt3RS MKII next year, but CGT's are are no longer made......

perhaps the only kicker in the new RS MKII, is if they no longer offer green or orange...... but we will have to wait and see on that....
