That's it. No more cars for you. If you can't learn to drive them properly, go to your room and go to bed.

Who in their right mind would want to buy a used car with only 100 miles? No telling what will happen in the next 100 miles!! It could have all kind of problems. I'll stick with my 31K mile car, I know it's broken in properly and has no issues!!

looks like a few white RS's are finally crawling out of hiding and are going up for sale.

ultra low mile RS cars still fetch the money. The only thing that might be negitive on the sale is the tonne of options on the car........

I just (3/25) paid $145K for a white 2008 RS with an MSRP of $148+. It has 451 miles. I've been looking for more than a year and just missed two white ones (minus black graphics and black wheels) at $135K (1700 miles) and $138K (1500 miles) that sold over weekends. All had PCCB and HID. The rest of the options varied.

I wasn't worried about it having low miles, just wasn't quick enough to catch the lower priced ones. All of the white cars I tried to buy (and have sold) went for around $3-5K odd MSRP.

Hope that helps.

I should add that all three of those white RSs sold (during March) in less than a week. So my perception of $3-5K off MSRP should probably be considered 'quick sale' prices.

Are people suggesting prices have strengthened for the RS? Has the humble GT3 regained some love too? I have one more track day in May then unlikely to get another day before the "dot two" comes along, but I'm not selling with an "8" or a "9" at the front of the price.

Looking at the GT3 RS sales that I am aware of, which is obviously not all of them,
I haven't seen a GT3 RS sell for over MSRP since October of 2008.

http://www.gt3rsregistry.com/docs/sales.htm

If anyone has any real sales numbers that they would like added, please feel free to send a PM.

Congratulations on your purchase!

Is this one now yours?

Default rs

I can tell you for certain that there have been recent RS sales over MSRP. I am not claiming that there have been many or that there are many RS cars left that have options miles condition and color that should comand over MSRP but I can tell you for sure that some have changed hands over recently between 5k over and 15k over.

Yes, I bought after the information on the new GT3 was revealed, and expect there will be a new RS. But I also thought the GT3 and RS were deals (at least for 911s and their competition) at MSRP. I wouldn't pay $40-60 over MSRP and that's why I didn't have one already.

If Porsche does bring out a new RS, I don't expect that it will be a huge difference - certainly nothing where any improvement couldn't be retrofitted.

I also don't like the trrends that I'm seeing in the direction cars are headed (increase weight, technology that takes away from the driving experience), not to mentions diesel, 4-cylinder Boxsters - see this month's R&T, and Kalifornia's 'green' wackiness. I wanted a special car while I could still get one.

The timing worked for me, though I still have a deposit in Atlanta for a new RS if one does make it here, and it is better than what I expect.
