bad post for me to read. it led me right to the configurator. $134k just whispering to get out of my wallet. fortunately, i'll rationalize the need to wait for dynamic engine mounts. in my heart i'd also prefer the pdk on the GT3 (perish the thought, i know) but i'd absolutely live without that. the front lift allows me to get this in my garage also. oy

awesome car and DR is a nice read.

If the new GT3 is this good, how much better can the new RS be? As much as I'd like to 'upgrade' I'll hold off at least until the 998 version.

I guess there's an outside chance of 4.0L and a good chance of the usual (widebody, lightened flywheel, graphics, etc.)

It's lighter than 997.1 GT3, but still dual-mass, I think. I guess the RS MkII will have lighter single-mass...

EDIT: Just checked porscheusa.com and it is still dual-mass.

Great write up... Looking like a fantastic car to replace an already fantastic car (hopefully with fewer leaks).... Shame they couldn't preview colors other than red... Already know what that looks like...

Shame about the thin sheet metal in the back as I was planning to retrofit rear seats but who gives a cr@p! Rear passengers miss out, my seat is secure, lol...
