Just spec'd 2010 GT3 for June/July Del
#32
Confirmed a few things today while putting down my order.
The car comes with centerlocks, no option. "Similar" to CGT but no promises on what wheels we can use for aftermarket. The dealer said they spent $5000 on a torque multiplier wrench for the CGT but I think a 4 foot bar will be sufficient.
The brake discs are 380mm instead of 350mm and are multi piece units
Bi-xenons are standard
The car comes with CDR30 (we have CDR24 in the 08's) which has almost the navigation sized screen and a much better interface to the radio for those of us not getting pcm. it seems to be single disc and not mp3 compliant though. PCM now has ipod, USB, AUX and bluetooth, the phone accessory is still about $970 which can be seen in the current cars.
The engine mounts are not standard, no real info on them other than they magnetically allow a stiff engine mount but soft while you're driving slow.
The crono is not required for the sport button, which does improve torque at certain rpm ranges
No info on the lift kit besides it lifts the front 30mm at under 30mph.
It will have PSM and TC, both able to be turned completely off.
The LSD will remain the same split as the current car.
It has the 3.8 we know about so 20hp.
I have a two page specification sheet that I can upload tomorrow that details a lot of this out.

I also heard no Euro Delivery! This totally sucks for me as this was my most important option! Bas..rds! The lift system is $3450 or so, saw it at the NYIAS today as a listed option. OUCH!!! I am told that Porsche wants these early release GT3's in the hands of purchasers before July 31 to put the $ on their end of year balance sheets. Will post pics of the NYIAS in another thread shortly!

Have they released the torque spec yet?

The dealers supposedly do not have an order sheet so they dont even know what is possible, this is just Porsche putting out a "what if" situation.. Euro delivery is never for the first cars, and PTS is 10-12 weeks of sitting around so those cars will not be on the first boat either.
You just get an email confirmation of the hand written order, not like the standard order system where they can track the car individually and where it is.
