if you don't mind me asking, which dealership are you going through?

you can pm me if you don't feel comfortable posting it.

Congrats on the allocation! Let the wait begin!

Excellence states that the active engine mounts come standard. Please post options list when you get it...

Oh well, I'm off the '10 GT3 list now...'cause I COULD NOT WAIT! In process of purchasing a '07 GTRS...more to come when it arrives

Good luck on the GT3.

From the German website, looks like the Euro prices for lift sytem & motor mounts:

Liftsystem Vorderachse. Hinweis: Frühestens verfügbar ab 09/2009.
2.975,00 €

Dynamische Motorlager. Hinweis: Frühestens verfügbar ab 09/2009.
1.190,00 €

There are also some options under the wheels but not sure if they are for paint or the centerlocks.

There is more options listed on the German site than the UK one.

The options under wheels are colors. Titanium is standard, aluminum color is a no cost and then there is black and all the usual colors...
No 5 lugs option, just CL.

Hey Guys, the best spec guide I have found is the Czech Republic in Europe. The Germany one I cannot read and the England version is not complete, not sure why. I used this to choose all my options then told the dealer what I want prices on. I also asked if there is a 5 lug option and prices on lift system and the dynamic engine mounts. I do not think I have a lot of interest in these, but am curious on prices.

I am hoping to get some more info today when I return to the dealership.

I suspect the reason you're seeing US orders/deliveries accelerated is because EU pre-orders are coming below expectations.

US March 911 sales down over 20%. Cayman/Boxster sales down over 50%. ROW similar. It is ugly out there.

Don't get taken in by sales pitch. Finding a GT3 is not going to be an issue - make sure you get a good deal.

Thats wat i'd like to know also... difficult ecomonic times aside, the dealerships aren't exactly receiving gt3s by the bucket load... surely they won't need to discount to move 2 or 3 allocations, will they???... Don't get me wrong, this would be great should it happen but I'm expecting to be reamed every last cent of the RRP (MSRP) and I never pay RRP...

I can not possibly think of why a dealership would discount a 2010 GT3 that they wont have for quite a while. It would make sense to sell it for MSRP now or wait till the car gets to the store and market it then for market value(high ot low). Lets not forget that a well equiped 911s is about the same price as a new GT3

2010 GT3's wont be hard sells at list

For those in DC Metro area, I spoke with Porsche Tysons Corner last w/e. They mentioned that they are getting seven (7) GT3's, and already have four people on their list w/ $1000 deposit. Then 10-15% down at order.

Just letting you guys know...no affiliation with them other than using their service dept. once in awhile.

According to them: "We're a Penske dealer and have highest volume in DC metro area...so we get more allocation than others..."
