Lightbulb 997 PCCB - P50 "Greens" PORSCHE MOTORSPORTS track brake pads available –

Pads should arrive in about 1 week - consider this post a 'reservation' for the P-50 Porsche Motorsports pads - they are - to use an overused phrase - 'limited'.

Please place a brief post here & send me an e-mail
I normally don't care to post prices, so contact me.

'P50s are for track use'

Also, I will be out of office the entire week including the work week of April 4-10th, so please factor that into the need for the P50s.

I've seen posts where the rotors remain smooth as glass - roberga posts for example.
I've seen posts where the STOCK pads have allegedly caused disc problems.

PCCB varies so much........................

Type in P50 while using the above search function and you will see what I mean. YMMV.

P50 pads will eat the PCCB rotors quicker.

Can you be more specific? "More abrasive" doesn't tell me anything. You could start with why they need more heat.... and go from there.

I am more interested in technical answers combined with empirical evidence, versus old wives tales and hearsay (which seems to dominate these discussions).

Not at all, and I have plenty of experience with Ceramics (all generations). I have a particular view and am open minded to "solid" evidence changing it. But that said, significant experience and evidence led me to my point of view.

My comments are not directed at you (specifically) but at the general audience that may wish to chime with real experience and data.

If I have any attitude, it is only a desire to get the best bang for the buck.... and ceramics is where that answer is at the moment (for me).

^ So do the P50 last longer than OE pads??? are there any disadvantages to them over stock PCCB pads?

They were developed for use in the Porsche Supercup series.
According to other posts on Rennlist over the past 2 years, they appear to chunk less and last longer -
