I'm in a dilemma between the two type of seats - I just can't decide.

Until recently I was thinking definitely GT2 seats because I would want to install rear seats (otherwise, what's the rear space for?), but the following thread confirms that there is NO part number of the bracket for rear seatback install. If there is no part number, the part cannot be bought, right?

My head still tells me to go with GT2 seats anyway, but my heart tells me to go with CGT's.

since the gt3 has space behind the seats, might aswell beable to access it. GT2 for sure.

perhaps you could find the parts for rear seats at L.A Porsche dismantlers?

I was debating the same thing, but in the end I went with CGT seats. Best looking seats I've ever seen. So nice I took a shot for my avatar.

I prefer the GT2 seats for daily driver, they are that little bit more user friendly in terms of getting in/out and obviously the recline thing.... I found that the CGT seats caused me back ache after ~300 miles (but to be fair that could be in combination with the ultra stiff clutch and more lying down seating position) whereas the GT2 are mega comfortable and remain so after 500 miles....

Does anyone know the respective weights ?

You know, that's completely over the top and I'd never bring myself to write the check to get that cabin (though I have the shell seats in leather and they're ideal) but somehow, that cabin really says something -- it's sort of like a Veyron or pleated look in a 575 that I liked (though in red and black) without going too far. Interesting. Give me the stripper cabin and minimum price tag any day, but that cabin at least lives up to the reality of the price tag on a GT3.
