He's had that car for quite a while. He mentioned it somewhere ages ago while promoting his "3" movie -- before the GT2 was reaching customers (at least in the US) -- and I thought for a second "idiot said '2' instead of '3'" ... but he's not your average ****** movie mannequin and he clearly knows how to have fun once he's making money ... I mean, you're an action movie leading man movie star, you're making money, why the hell wouldn't you drive a GT2?!

Look at me!
Wow, somewhat surprised at the responses here.
My guess would be something more of a rice burner. In line with the entire B movie genre, of course.
Fake turbo decals, lots of scoops, wings, goofy paint, holed-out mufflers -- the whole shebang. See, this perfectly illustrates the problem with too much downforce -- it takes you down, down down.

Come on -- Transporter was/is 100% entertaining. The two sequels were junk, but he's done other stuff. He's not Harrison Ford, but he's a pretty decent action lead and he makes dopes like Nicolas Cage look like B movie hacks.
Look at The Bank Job or The Italian Job or The One ... all decent movies and that's just his work with "Job" or "The" in the title. : )

I was thinking of new cars available for sale.
GT2 vs RS, forgetting the price premium for the GT2, I'd take the GT2 over the RS to drive. In terms of cars to have and keep in the garage indefinitely, in the US market, the 997 RS ('07-'08) is the outright slam-dunk millionaire.
Once the 997.2 GT3 arrives and soundly spanks its' potatoes, I think the 997.1 RS loses its luster for the cashed-up buyers and then it becomes the bargain of the century. At least until the "next" RS. But that's prolly 2011 and by then Porsche will have withdrawn it's "six speed for driver's" marketing message and PDK will be standard issue on their GT cars.

ps. Most entertaining movie I've seen in ten years that I'll go see again in the theatres before the Blu-ray arrives: Watchmen. Fascinating. Can't wait for ten sequels and prequels.
