Hey Paul...how's the Breitling by the way?

I hope Porsche can do something to get PDK into a GT3...that will be the only way I could ever drive one as you know.

I think PDK in a GT3 would be supreme...but with true paddle shifters that follow the steering wheel.

I thought I was the only one who preferred the current body and spoiler! Still, quite a piece...and nice mechanical evolution.

One benefit of Guards Red - the wifey won't ride in mine, especially if I use the muffler button

Really like the look... Not saying it looks better than a 997.1, just that I won't mind buying this one considering I missed out on a 997.1...

On a side note, the front lip now seems to stick forward quite a bit (yes, for aero reasons) and seems more rigid... it doesn't look like it'll be as flexible as the lip on the 997.1. Probably partly explains the front axle lift system...

What's not to like about this car?

I like it way too much.
+1. That summed up what I was thinking. And oh boy, that is really red!

Coincidence that the 996 & 997 MkIs have taco spoilers and the MkIIs have more of a RS spoliers? Anyways, the front is fine but the back is terrible. Way too busy/too many vents, I sure hope they are functional otherwise that is so fast & furious And the US version will be even busier with 2 more bumps next to the license plate....

Thanks Paul.

I'm in no big rush, still can't use my club coupe to its full capability on the track.

Maybe the PDK in turbo form will do magic, then it will be very hard to decide which car to get.

I agree. I love the new front, but not thrilled about the spoiler on the back. All told, it just looks busier. While it looks like the RS spoiler, I like the 997.1GT3 spoiler for its uniqueness.

Of course, all the other new stuff is cool.
