I think one of the issues that limits the customization of GT3's (regular & RS) is that they are made/assembled in the Porsche Motor-sports factory, as opposed to the normal "large" factory where all other 911's are made.
This is one of the reasons why my next pcar will be a GT3, I feel like the workers and attention to detail at the motorsports plant is that much better.

Classic! Reason alone to consider it, hmmmm.....
I went through like 100 Euros/hr of fuel. Sustained 175 on the autobahn 
will do that.

Absolutely, Hockenheimring also has public open track on thursdays as well.
If you go to the ring, get someone who knows what they're doing (and speaks english) in the car with you, it's even harder then it looks.

I don't think that is true -- the GT3s and GT3RSs were assembled on the "normal" production line. In fact, even the GT3 Cup is assembled on the regular production line. Here is what press materials for the Cup say: "Porsche builds the GT3 Cup on the Company's regular production lines in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, the body-in-white leaving the plant only for the purpose of welding in the safety cage."

PTS GT3
I know of 3 2008 GT3s in the RS Orange color. I was lucky enough to get one that was already ordered by the dealer. When they ordered the car they did not know if they would get the RS Orange or RS Green. I was there when the car arrived and we all held our breath to see if it was green or orange.

If you don't mind, who called you? Porsche AG, PCNA, or your dealer? If this is true I am going to be extremely happy and keep this new GT3 a very long time.

I contacted Porsche AG that put me in touch with PCNA. I think PNCA got the green light from Porsche AG but I'm not exactly sure.
