I thought the 996 and 997 front iron rotors were not the same size, or is it just the calipers that are different. Hey what is going on hear, Mooty you are the one that usually answers the questions, not ask?

The iron 996 GT3 rear is a 330x28, with PCCB at 350x28.

Same front rotors for iron 996 and 997 GT3. Calipers are the same as well, but not the uprights.

The PCCB 7GT3 uses a different upright than the cast iron rotors 7GT3, and a different caliper as well.

Rear calipers are unique to the 997 GT3.

Front rotors for PCCB equipped 997 GT3 can be swapped with 997 Cup rotors (31 lbs rotors).

 

if you have iron, then front of 7 and 6 are IDENTICAL. dont bother with part number, they are the same, i swap the disc day in and day out on my two cars.

todd, i had some clue about disc sizes, but after my move, i got crap all over the place, can't jack my car up, can't find a bunch of tools (packing my stuff in identical looking trash bags, didn't help..... )... so i figured it's faster to ask.

I hope you have a little extra garage space, can never have to much. I envy our fellow renlisters who have garage lifts, I have to bust butt with two floor jacks.

 

i use floor jack and jack stands. no lift.
i keep telling wife that my back hurts, maybe one day she will buy me a lift.
