Aside the from those (otherwise wonderful) seats having the harness pass-through too low on the back, they are also mounted too high to provide sufficient headroom (with no height adjustment)...
Hi Grant I also have the GT2 seats in my new pride and joy, though almost no seat-time yet due to the winter weather Can't wait to go for a proper testing
A buddy of mine who also owns the 997 GT3 with the GT2 seats has lowered the seats by 2 cm and is happy with them now. The GT2 seats are 3 cm higher compared to the sports seats in lowest position.
@ Johnny: the line forms at Porsche's test track in Weissach.

Yes, it seems as though the seats are mounted higher than Sport Seats - thanks for confirmation. How did your friend lower his (aftermarket mounts)? Would it be possible to lower more than 20mm?
One other thing I thought of when seeing/hearing the video is that it should be possible for someone to do an audio analysis and determine how high the new redline is (sounded a bit lower than the current 8,400 rpm).

I don't have the tech details yet, but I'll ask and will let you know
Interesting idea with the sound analysis Indeed it could well be that the rumored 3.8 DFI engine for the FL GT3 won't be such a screamer as the GT1 based engine anymore.
