Default 2007 GT3 Prices

So I decided to look at GT3 prices on Ebay, and I found four white 2007, low option (bi-xenon and few other bits), no PCCB, one owner GT3's with the following miles and "buy it now" prices:

Miles - Price

3813 - $94,888
5448 - $95,900 (this one also had "or best offer")
4356 - $96,995 (did have nav, chrono, and sound)
4200 - $94,800 (new MPSC tires, also had "or best offer")
~10K - $92,500 (this one is silver and not on Ebay)

I'm not disappointed or surprised, but IMHO, all of these cars look like they are in mint condition (I know pictures do not tell the whole story); and if they are, then I think they are currently the best sports car deal on the planet.

They have plenty of warranty left, and any one of them can be certified for $2 to 2.5K if the buyer plans on keeping the car for some time down the road.

Just my opinion, and I hope I have not offended anyone who might be selling their GT3. Keep in mind these are 2007 models without PCCB and very little options (just the way I like them). So they are about $10-15K off of MSRP after 2 years. A 10-15% deprecation after 2 years is actually really good, and these are the lowest priced cars. Of course the mileage of these cars is way below average; really kind of sad. Mine is a 2008 and it is just over a year old and it has about 11K miles on the clock.

For a high priced sports car, I am surprised that values have held up so well - especially in the current economic environment. I can't remember the last time a Porsche held its value so well. My guess is that prices will firm a bit in the Spring again when buyers are looking for their summer rides.

GT Porsches typically hold up the best, followed by Turbos... Thanks for the research. I think the 997 GT3 and RS will go down as classics.

Seeing these prices tempts me to add a GT3/GT2 to my family. I must take a deep breath and count to 1000.

Holding their value quite well...

at roughly $30K more than a nice used 996-3, I still believe that the 996-3 is the best sportscar buy on the market right now.

plus no sunroof

Agree with that most def.

No one should be offended, it is what it is, hell I have been riding my GT2 harder then ever for the past few days without a care of the economy, my 30k miles and resale.. Just enjoy them, I stopped caring because I just didn't enjoy the car if I did!

I always wanted a 7 GT3, with these prices I have been tempted to add a Gallardo (cheap one for daily driving LOL) but they just do nothing for me in the end, but now with these 7 GT3 prices maybe i'll wait a bit longer and pick one up for 90 ! They are holding damn well though value wise, but i'm not surprised, I mean the 7 GT3 is all right in every damn way!

this would be the one... floormats and arctic silver... love that...
CPO and what seems to be a reasonable full disclosure seller...

soon the RS will be priced a little lower.... great car!

so far the price for a gt3 RS is still a jump from a gt3, however with the lack of sunroof, additional factory powertrain upgrades, sexy wide body and low production numbers etc.. i think it is worth the additional $$ in the long run.

The prices are comming down slowly but surely....

Wow, good one! I added it to the list above.

To clarify, at first I did think that the prices for these 997 GT3's was a bit on the low side and I was mildly disappointed; but I did buy mine to drive it, and certainly do not think of it as an investment. But after thinking about it, I realized that some time has passed since the 2007 GT3's were introduced, and that these prices are actually very good, especially considering the current economic climate. But I need to track these auctions and see if the cars actually sold, and at what price. That will be a more accurate pricing for 2007 GT3's.

I personally think they are priceless!

actually, i dont think those prices reflect the current selling price. the fact that those cars are still for sale and often times relisted again, to me it says that the selling prices for the 7gt3 is much lower. but im still surprised that these prices are as high as they are.
