Very nice!

I just sold those same wheels and I was considering painting the centers gold for my white GT3.

What are the specs of the tire/wheel package? The alignment plus tire/wheel widths plus offsets you have just look SO purposeful. It's awesome.

they are awesome wheels....... but ya know, come to think of it i prefer the "997 cup style" look wheels on the 997 chassis..... dont know why... i just do...

that being said, e88's on a 997 RS got to be some serious bit of kit! wow!

If you can post some of those photos of your Go Pro camera on the side, please do so. I bet you can get some cool stuff from that angle!

Here are some videos with the GoPro Camera and the Sony HDR-TG1.

The Sony is a lightweight (titanium body) High Def camcorder that records to a 32 Gb Memory Stick. It shots amazing videos, but compressing them for Web posting takes away the incredible quality.

The Sony is mounted to the rear window using a filmtools.com windshield camera mount. The suction cup is good for 50 lbs, although the TG1 weighs just 0.66 lbs.

With the GoPro Camera mounted outside, the sound comes in pretty good, as the waterproof seal isolates the wind noise quite well.

Videos Here ===> http://www.vimeo.com/Porsche

The wheels are 9" and 12" x 19". Offset 51 for all of them. At the rear I can't use a spacer and the fenders are rolled. At the front I have 7mm of camber shims per side, and rotated tops, with standard fenders (can't be rolled).

The tires are Hoosier A6 265/35R19 and 345/30R19. The 345 A6 doesn't fit the 997 GT2 or 997 GT3 RS, it is a gigantic tire, measured side by side to a 335/30R18 A6 I have at home, the 345 is 1.2" wider. I went through some work to make them fit under the fenders.

PCCB is an option.

what kind of work did you go through to fit 345's?

would you reccommend it? or is it not for the faint of heart?

Actually, this car has red calipers and PCCB rotors.

The 345 needs a 12" wheel minimum, a 13" would be ideal but my SCCA AutoX class restricts the wheels to 12". The offset for a 12" should be a 56mm, the rear OEM 5mm spacer should be removed, and the fenders must be rolled. If the offset is less agressive, the 345 will rub the rear trailing arm under compression.

My rear wheels have a 51mm offset, so I had to gain the 5mm of space not achieved rolling the fenders by making the fenders wider, this requires a body shop to do the work (I did it myself).

The 345 A6 is not a bolt-on tire, it is the equivalent to a 365 street tire. I don't recommend this tire for a 7 GT3 RS, but if you have the dedication to make it work, it will show marginally lower lap times than a 325/19 or 335/18 A6.

Great work on the car Rad. That is also the largest front tire I've seen on a 997.
