I did the inaugural 3 Day Competition course last month, and found it to be very good even in wet/damp conditions.
There should be some changes implemented in the next course, I'll find out as I will be attending again in March.
Data was the biggest teaching tool.... it is all seeing
Oversteer exercises... interesting ... butt 'o' meter calibration

Major differences between courses:
Performance Two Day.....all lead/follow.
Masters Day one lead/follow Day two On track alone
Competition Day one a short lead/follow session then on track alone for the remainder of the class.

I will be interesting to drive the new gen 997 on the track The larger brakes on the Carrera will be welcomed.

March is Sold out
April had 9 open spots.
Oct & Dec Open

Done the Masters? Sign-up and come on down

I attended the "inaugural" race license school at PSDS too. It's well worth the effort to set aside the time and get to Barber for three days. Their chosen hotel is mediocre and expensive, so I'd skip it. Logistics are a bit loose, so I'd rent a car rather than use their shuttle. Be careful with flight itinerary into and out of Birmingham (avoid flying out early morning if there's fog in Atlanta f'rinstance) and try Delta for direct non-stop flights. But the meat of it is the instructors and the track, which are literally world class. The Barber facility is extraordinary. From the museum to the track facilities, the manicured grounds to the world class instructors with major league accomplishments under their belts, it's an extraordinary opportunity and I'm still amazed that Porsche lets 20 guys go and beat the crap out of brand new 911's and do wheel-to-wheel rolling starts. We had some accomplished drivers as students at the first event and even they learned a few things and shaved a few tenths of their times, picked up some technique and technical nuances and everyone got to push their individual limits. Unless you consider yourself to have utterly mastered trail-braking, weight management and controlled slip angles, well, I think you'll pick up a few tenths here and there. : )

You're so modest (j/k), some of us picked up 10s here and there.

It will be interesting to hear the feedback on the Legends!

I'm sure it will be a "salty" old crowd.
