GT3 rear wing options
I have been gently looking around at the rear wing options for the 997 GT3. At first I thought the Cup wing was nice but on a road car it looks too big and is also very expensive as you need to buy one made for the road cars induction set up. I think I was quoted 5000euros for one.
The next option is the RS wing but whilst it looks great from certain angles I think it look pretty awful form others and I am not a fan of the end plates. Different supports (Cup style) and different endplates and i'd be tempted.
My third and favourite option is the wing from the Ruf RGT:

I sent Ruf an email about it expecting to be told that you cannot buy one without buying an RGT but you can apparently. One small problem: The price which is 7900euros, £6737, $10120!
Think i'll stick with the standard wing...

I know that the cost lies in crafting a new engine cover but at these costs its daft to do. Where can I get a RS wing for sensible money?
Anyone know of a front ended written off RGT...?

Check with Suncoast Porsche. They had the complete RS wing and decklid on their web site. I don't see it now, so you may wany to inquire. Also, they have a 10% off sale righ now. See if the parts qualifies for the discount.

go with the RS wing.
for resale especially. You can hawk it seperately when finished with the car or sell with the car.
The OE look is also what IS the better look. Unless you wanna throw the money at RUF??
